Communications Plus Workshop

Background
Communication skills are fundamental to success, inside or outside of school or the workplace. The African Chamber for Youth Development hosts the Communications Plus Workshop free of charge for emerging young leaders in some selected senior high schools in Ghana to equip them with basic communication skills essential for enhancing their leadership capacity.
The Communications Plus Workshop seeks to equip young people with the communications skills needed to enable them effectively articulate their thoughts/views/opinions and ideas on how to make the society a better place. This training ultimately makes these young people become better leaders in their schools and in the community at large. Beyond obviously developing spoken and written communication skills through our Communications Plus Workshop, we invariably help the students to also develop their thinking and debating skills.
Ultimately, Communications Plus Workshop seeks to help participants to develop their own voice in the world with which to share their thoughts, opinions, and ideas using the communications skills acquired through the training we provide.

A-LEAGUE LEADERS Project

The A-League Consult in partnership with the African Chamber for Youth Development launched the A-LEAGUE LEADERS Project.

This project is aimed at raising a new generation of dynamic and impact-driven African Leaders. A-LEAGUE LEADERS Project is targeted at school prefects and Student Representative Council (SRC) leaders in the senior high schools in Africa starting from Ghana.

These student leaders are taken through a rigorous and practical leadership training workshop that essentially introduces the concept of effective and impactful leadership to these young leaders.

The beneficiaries of this training will be put into a network where they will receive mentorship and leadership coaching for the next 5 years after which they will graduate into mentors and coaches to give back to the A-LEAGUE LEADERS Project.
